This morning my husband and I went to have our annual eye exam to make sure our current eye sight is good. Exam went well and they did change 1 eye so it shouldn’t be blurry any more when I wear my contacts. We each got 6 months worth and I’ll get the other half from online contact store since we have our current script for our eyes. Our little guy did well he sat and played with two toys he brought and then watch a short movie on mine and my husbands phone. It took us only a hour to get through everything. Now I got new contacts new order coming in.

Awesome! I need to go to the eye doctor, but I need to get vision insurance again as well. I'm glad you were able to get that all taken care of though.

Yes, my eyes have been bad since I was 12 I’ve had glasses or contacts. The older two go for there’s on Friday. The littlest can’t go till next January once he is 5 and can say the letters of the alphabet

@ShyBear88 I have had glasses since i was 4. I think there was a year or two when I didn't wear them when I was little, but I've almost always worn them. I think pretty much everyone has to have corrective lenses now. This world of computer screens.

@ScribbledAdNauseum it doesn’t always have to do with screen a lot of eye issues are do to genetics. My parents both had glasses still do same with my husbands side of the family so our kids are doom to have them at some point it’s just the when. I went many years longer then my brothers

That's a good way of starting new year.

@ShyBear88 it's a good practice of doing it at the start. It's easier to keep track.

@florelway it depends on a person insurance some they allow you once visit any time during the year and others it has to same time or close to each year. So for us it’s like if I went December and then January came I could go again in January. Other people if they go in December 1,2019 they have to wait to go on or after December 1, 2020. It comes down to the insurance company and what they offer you.

@ShyBear88 I understand, you have to adjust to that schedule then.

It's important to get them checked once in 6 months

No. That might be okay where you live but in the US most all places it’s a 1 time a year thing. Other wise if you got more then that there will be a reason. The only check ups that happen every 6 months is teeth.
