MyLot is Like a Telephone

Today I was very busy, off and on myLot.
Which got me to thinking. It’s like a telephone where you can gab, laugh, empathize, and have fun whenever you want to connect with your friends.
When you must leave, it’s like pressing hold or calling right back when you have time just to continue the conversation where you left off.
Actually, I think it’s better than a telephone. No one has to be put on hold for too long.
Unfortunately, I have to hang up soon.

Yes, like now I have to start getting ready for office. I would likely be coming back here tomorrow morning, and ig by chance, I manage; today evening for some 15-20 minutes.

you can have actual conversations with those who are also online, but you and they can also leave voice messages you both can attend to later.
what @judyev said about scammers and nuisance calls remind me of party lines. you can join in on a conversation that two or more people are having.

I dislike phones!! Especially today where I spent 47 minutes on hold to my insurance company, 1 hour and 30 minutes to get through to TOPS and 25 minutes to my dentist!!! Ridiculous in this world where you can go on the computer and get things done a lot more quickly!

Yikes! That’s awful and way too long to be put on hold.
Usually we get a call back time. If they put me on hold, I put the speaker on - which blasts awful music - and do other things. I make THEM wait until I pick up the phone.
I can understand the others, but the dentist? That’s ridiculous!

MyLot is like a telephone. Also sort of like a chat messenger. When we are available we will log on. When we are not available we are away at the moment leave a message
