Dear Mama Nature, did you know it's not spring?

It's actually winter, or atleast it's supposed to be.
Mama Nature, you seem to want to give us more spring like temps and rain. You deliver some cold temps over night, but we've not yet had any of that white stuff that falls from the sky.
I was just wondering if you were going to deliver any of that, ya know, since it's winter
Does anyone have any snow that North Carolina can borrow?

@mrki444 Oh, yes. There has been one or two times this year that I thought I saw snow mixed in with the rain we've had.

@ScribbledAdNauseum We have all four season. Now should be winter but it doesn't look like that. This "winter" season we had only one or two times snow but it didn't even cover grass.

We are cold right now--but California seems to be getting drier even when it is cold--wishing you snow!

@ScribbledAdNauseum Not right now, but I suspect we will be if there isn't enough snow in the Sierras this year--we rely on the snowpack each year--so you are right--dry isn't good

Western NC has seen snow this year, but we are too far east for it to hit us.
Dry isn't good. You guys are under water restriction?

@divalounger Someone else was telling me about how they'd heard about some regulation that may require people to pay a hefty fine if they use over so much water per day in Cali.

I don’t mind the weather we are having right now as for snow we have a little and I could care less if we have it at all. I don’t mind cold temps but the snow can go away.

We are having spring like temps and that is the problem. I want snow. I imagine it will be dumped on us in February and March.

It needs to figure itself out. We have warm temps during the day but cold at night, it has rained the majority of the past few weeks.

I like our weather right now. Although it was really cold this morning. I went out to see a neighbor and Lily went out. I noticed that the bird feeder needed more bird food so I went back out to refill it. Then Lily came in.

It's sunny here today, which is better than it has been which is lots of rain. I don't mind the overcast skies, but I do get tired of the constant rain.
Are you in the midwest? I can't remember.

The snow here has been almost non existent this winter too. However, be careful what you wish for, We might end up wtih two feet in February. If it is a choice between that and no snow, sad as it is..I would take no snow!

I would have to say I'd like the two feet, but I am able to stay in doors without worrying about anything. If it was a few years ago when I was working outside the house, I'd have to say that I didn't want it.

That is exactly what I am wondering... where the heck did winter go? I am not yet ready for spring. I want the white stuff, and lots of it. And I want the crisp cold.

We get snow put in our extended forecast, but you know you can't rely on what the extended has. I think the farmer's almanac claimed (last year) that THIS winter would be snowy. Apparently not.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yeah. Sometimes my weather app may show a snowflake for a certain day but then we get close to that day and it vanishes.

Yeah, we haven't gotten below 40 degrees during the day here, mostly in the 50's and 60's
I want snow, we are well and truly over due for it.

We have similar temps. I don't think we'll reach 70, but we'll stay in the 60's during the day and chillier (down to 28 one night) at night.

That is 32 degrees farenheit, that is the temps we have been having early in the morning and over night. However, we have 60 degree farneheit which is 15 in celsius.

it's been more spring like here in NC than it has been winter. Still cold enough to warrant a heavy jacket, but with lots of rain. I'd rather have snow.

We started the day with Sun and snow showers. The snow didn't amount to much and the sun melted whatever stuck to the ground. Now it's getting very windy but with the sunshine it feels warmer than it is.
Sorry no snow to send you there.

Our problem here is that it's windy. It's a tad cold but still very spring like. That sun and snow showers is usually what we get when we get something. Sometimes we have really good snows, but there are years where we'll get the sludge on the ground type of snow.
