fuse/condenser info

I heard a pop when my wife was cooking something in the oven. The bake and broil doesn't work now. It's a Cuisine 300 model...pretty old. I checked the 30 amp fuses (two of them) and replaced with brand new ones and it still won't go. The stovetop elements work. I noticed to the far left of the fuses a silver colored cylindrical piece on it it says "condenser" On one side it says "14-15 watt" and opposite side it says "20 watt". One end has two prongs that you plug and twist the object into the stove with...is this the problem part that needs replacing? I don't know if the elements themselves are faulty because they both don't work. My wife said it was on about 350-400 when it happened. Where do I start now?
