This Christmas gift from my daughter last year was meant as a joke but it's turned out to be one of the most useful Christmas presents I've ever received! It's an adult version of a child's bib and it came about when we were at our daughter's house for dinner one day and I accidentally spilled soup down my shirt. Lo and behold, that Christmas Day this turned up in my stocking. Our daughter thought it was a great laugh but I don't mind admitting that I wear it at every meal and it has saved many a shirt from soup, gravy and curry stains. Looks like I got the last laugh!

I wear an apron around my neck; and it has saved me many a stain on my tops.

@ScotMac I wish we could get away with that in restaurants.

@LindaOHio Don't be shy - just do it. What are they going to do - ask you to leave? You could probably sue if they did

My husband needs one of those! Love it! It’s a family joke that he should just dunk his tie in his dinner as soon as it’s served.

I hate when food, especially curry and bolognese spill on my clothes because the stains are very stubborn! So, I wouldn't mind one of those myself :)
