Centipede in the Bathroom

Centipede

I was so shocked this afternoon when I went to the toilet in between Mylotting. I have just pushed on the water container of the toilet when I saw a small thing crawling on the bathtub. I went to the living room immediately to get my eyeglasses. It was a small centipede that I have seen in my life. It was about 1 inch long. I have not seen a centipede before here in Germany so I was not sure at first if it was really a centipede. I took my IPhone from the living room and took a video of it so my better half would believe me. I took a video for 2 minutes. After that, I showered it with water, flushed it down where it probably came, the exit hole of the bath water. Then I closed it with the bathtub stopper so that it will not come back again. I will be careful next time when taking a bath. I don´t want to be in water with the centipede. Yikes. Has it happened to you before? It was so funny when I took the video as I was talking to the centipede. My! It seemed I was getting crazy. I don´t only talk to plants but also to a small animal.

Yikes - centipedes are the only creepy-crawly I can't abide. I run a mile when I see one!

I believe it was a centipede I found in my bathtub once, but it was really odd looking--the legs were all different lengths. Whatever it was, I sent it for a "ride" in the toilet. LOL--I don't think you're crazy--or I must be to, as I talk to dogs and birds and things when I'm out walking.

I think it was a centipede @xstitcher. It seems that we have something in common. We are really funny to talk to dogs, birds and things. I talk to my plants, too. But I don't mind if people think I am crazy. Thank you.

A few mornings lately there has been an earwig in the sink in the kitchen. I think he must come up the pipe too. I always flush him back where he came from.

I also think that the centipede came up from the pipe, too @JudyEv. Flushing it back is better than killing it. I think.
