Day 158 Promise 208 Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand. We all travel a certain path through our lives that take us on many journeys. From the moment we’re born, we know what we want and we go after it. Sometimes the way gets lost as we search other paths, but never find what we’re looking for until we come back to the path that fills the void in our lives and makes us truly happy. David said God directed the steps of a good man, and though he wandered down a different path, He would not desert him but would hold him and bring him back. As Christians, many people want to show you a different path to God. Yet, there is only one path, and when you follow the path God laid out for you, God will never desert you but show you where you need to go and guide your steps, so that even if you make a wrong turn, you can still find the way home. John 14:6 Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. Let the Lord order your steps, and though you falter, you will never be lost. Let’s pray: Father, guide me in Your truth. Let Your light shine on the path You want me to follow as I journey through this life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
