I gave in...

The clouds parted and blue skies reigned here this afternoon. I took advantage of the gorgeous weather and went outside to pick up limbs. After all the rain and thunderstorms there are limbs everywhere. I am just glad we did not loose any big tree limbs or have another tree come down with the wind advisory of up to 80 mph last week.
So as the title states, I gave in. I went outside in jeans and a short sleeve shirt. I was sweating in 30 minutes so went back inside and trades the jeans and shirt for shorts and a tank top. Yes, that is how we roll in the South!
It's in the mid 70's and the high humidity is hanging around so it was nice to be comfortable and outdoors.
What did you do today? Did you get to enjoy pretty weather too?

We've been having some pretty humid mornings, but it usually levels out by lunchtime. It's been on the warm side here in Florida, but when the humidity disappears it actually feels good. Glad you were able to get out in your shorts and tank top.

@moffittjc It's good that you are having such great weather that you can get outside and be lazy, go camping, etc.!

@kareng I got woken up super early this morning in my hammock to the sound of rain hitting my rain tarp above me. Initially, it woke me up, but ended up being a soothing sound that allowed me to drift back to sleep.

@kareng One day. I woke up this morning to four below with a negative twelve wind chill. However, it's going up today and will snow later. We're getting upward of six inches before six tomorrow night.
I'm quite sure this time the numbers are right if we don't get more than that. The whole state will get snow.

@wolfgirl569 Yep, today wasn't so nice. Cloudy, and misty all day--and a bit cooler. Boo!

shorts'n a tank. mid 70's. i'm so depressed! we nearly reached 70 tuesday. cold front today, temps 'f jest low 50's with a bitin' cold wind. our high thursday 'tis to be 34 degrees ('nother cold front, oh joy!). did i mention such's to be't 2am? yepperz, gonna be cold, windy, freezin' rain/snow.
what'd i do? hmmm, not a whole lot i fear. did get several wheelbarrows 'f prunin' remnants hauled out near the back 'f the pasture. there'd be'n ol' well there that ne'er 'twas filled. i've barriers 'round such, plywood/sheet metal 'top. use such to pile said remnants fer critter habitat. a safe haven fer pheasant, quail 'n others.
