Has anyone over here ever heard about doomsday clock which is ticking for real? The clock is made by few atomic scientists and it is made keeping track of the current political catastrophe around the world. The clock tends to be set every 2-3 months keeping the conditions between countries around the world. Sad to say that we are 2 minutes away from midnight. Which is we are so close to Mutually Assured Destruction. I also read that they are going to set the clock soon by January 24,2020 for latest changes. I will always pray for peace around the world. We already made so much harm around us What do you know about the doomsday clock and what are your thoughts?

The doomsday clock was always a big topic when I was a teenager. We talked about it in school a lot.

@Archie0 I’m not very worried about it. We were much closer to nuclear war back in the late 50s and 60s than we are now.

I don’t believe in stuff like that. Becuaee the last time people freaked about something like this it was the Myan Calandra which if anyone studies different ways it counting that the Myans counted in 7 base unites and not 10 base unites which is why there calanadr never went on they didn’t know how to show the next set of numbers. Then people also created about 2000’s and the world crashing and the Y2K bug.

I totally agree on what you say. Above all the recent climatic conditions that I am seeing are horrible and can relate to that movie 2012

@Archie0 remember that is just a movie. I don’t think when the end will come we will really be able to tell. Im pretty sure when it does we all will be long gone.

I had read about it a few years back and I ignored it. What good is it for me to know that doomsday is coming when I cannot do anything about it?

The Doomsday Clock was used a lot back in the day in sci-fi literature. Didn't take it seriously then and don't now. Figure if the world is going to implode the less I know the better able I'll be to get my Angel Wings.
