This limerick is just an excuse to let you all know we fly out to Nepal this evening and I’ll be on and off over the next three weeks, having fun. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to log in from time to time with a post and photos and I can’t guarantee it. I also thought you might enjoy the photo what with all the recent news about the dreadful fires and the effect on wildlife. The photo was taken in the Adelaide Zoo some years ago. I used 'don't' deliberately to keep the rhythm correct. There is a koala named Fred Who’s about to drop on his head Just hangin’ around Far above ground As long as he don’t end up dead Stay safe and happy till I see you next.

Some of them quite used to being handled but the wild ones are inclined to scratch and bite - as any wild thing would.

You're probably right but you see, a limerick has to rhyme blah blah so sometimes it goes off in its own direction.
