I have noticed that one of my cousins ??is handling a lot of money, for the work she has, I know she is single and without children and some luxuries can be given, she works in the courts and is a public defender, but the salary in this country is hardly to eat, you must have 2 jobs to survive, today a friend in common told me that she and others are asking for money $ to speed up the process to the prisoners or not, and that is serious, recently came to see me and I wanted to talk to her, but I couldn't because I think that if it's not true and I'm stupid for trying to help her ... I really don't know what to think or make friends. Thank you for reading my concern.

It is very delicate because it is not allowed for that the government pays them.

You should be careful if this is just a rumour. It could be simply that she's saved money or is very careful with it. I'm still on what many people would consider a low income but it's about the highest income I've ever had so I can be very frugal with it.

@Aleskys could you get into trouble if you got involved or if you didn't report your concerns?

If I know that I have to be careful about that, I prefer to side with myself at the moment.

It is serious if it is illegal. As a person connected with law she probably knows what she is doing. Unless you're very close to her and it's your duty to protect her , in my opinion, you should let her do what she likes.

If proven true that would be a big tarnish to her reputation...
