"Homewrecker" Websites

There are websites now where people can post about alleged homewreckers.
The problem I see with some of them though, is they allow people to post unsubstantiated assertions. Doing that is inviting a slander or defamation lawsuit against the sites, wouldn't you agree?

I have enough troubles of my own without getting involved with other people's problems. I am sure they'll all make a great big mess of it and make a bad situation even worse.

I agree with you that it is inviting such a thing, but I think those who post false and unsubstantiated allegations and / or assertions.... Those people hope and / or assume that no one will sue them, or that even if they do, their slander would stand on it's own, irregardless of it's falsehood.. If that makes sense. The slander / damage is already done, so what if it isn't true? People now wonder about that person.

@CarolDM Some people may use them to trash exes they are simply bitter over, if the splits were less than amicable. They could accuse them of being cheaters and such even if they're not.
