Productive & Successful Morning

Had many things to do around the house today. I like to get them done in the morning. Then I have the rest of the day to relax.
Started out with laundry. Then sweeping the hardwood floors, as I do every day. Vacuumed the rugs.
Emptied the ice out of the bird feeder. It never melted yesterday. But I was able to crack it today and give them fresh water.
Filled up the bird feeder. More peanuts and sunflower seeds. I will stop feeding them in a few weeks when it starts to warm up. They will find their own food and insects then.
A few phone calls. My uncle's phone has been out for two days now. Contacted his step-daughter and she called to get it checked. Good thing I called. Not sure when they would have realized it was out.
That is it for now. The cats have been relaxing and napping all day of course.
The photo above is the cat apron my Australian friend sent me. Washed it and now ready to use.

That's a really cute apron. I'm glad you found out that your uncle's phone was out. It might have been needed in an emergency.

That is such a cute little apron. it seems as if you have been quite busy this morning. I went to the grocery store and home, not much to do today. I'll start the dishes after dinner today. I'm making spaghetti.
It sure has been cold the past few days.

sounds like my mornin' ritual when the hubs's not home :) thankfully the pond ne'er freezes completely so's the critters can drink out'ta the waterfall with ease. when 'tis cold here, i go through quite a bit 'f bird feed 'f all sorts.
hope ya got that phone thingy worked out, i've yet to make't to that discussion. slowly catchin' 'p here i think?

@caroldm I like to get all the important things done and dusted in the morning so that there'll be time later on for anything unexpected that comes up, like in case the Belgians invade Venezuela and I feel obliged to sign up and go off to fight. Some important business has to wait till dark however, like serious dreaming.
