I hear people saying. I read articles and blogs. They say that relationships are not all about money.
Well, I agree that this is true but not fully.
Money is a major factor unless one is a saint(even some saints too turn out to be ultra greedy!).
So whether boyfriend-girlfriend, husband-wife, friends, brother-sisters, money factor is a big influencer.
Well, one does tends to be nicer and more friendly to those with more money.
Aren't you also?
I know some of you or others could be exceptional but hard and bitter truths do present themselves a lot of time.
Don't they?

Yet those are the people who are often in "control" of things and we cannot side step them each time.
We have to deal with them some or the other way.

You have a point but not all are after money because what they are after is just survival. Survival enough to enjoy life to the fullest for a simple living

Sorry but I don't agree at all. It's quite sad, I think, if people who are nice regardless of money are in the minority in your life.
Saying that, I've not known many people with a lot of money!

That depends. May be the people you know might be positive thinkers who think of money as something that comes and go.
And may be I face more such people who are after money and show off.

Our experiences around us do shape some of our views. So it could be something that varies from person to person.

My partner has lots of money but I didn't know that when I met him. It has never made much difference to our relationship but that is probably because I have my own money, not as much as he has, but I am comfortable.

May be if you had an aim or a desire and asked for money from your partner and he was short on it??

I don't agree with that "one does tends to be nicer and more friendly to those with more money." My friendship is not for sale and having me as a friend does not depends on the money of a person. It depends on how I like the person through his/her good character.

That is a nice and strong stand but I just made an observation.

And in some ways lack of money has been an obstacle in some of my objectives in my life.

Yes this is my observation too.
And lack of money drives many to crimes like robbery, even though a robber who becomes rich still carries on robbing people.

Well, even I am not into competition with others but it is what I have that matters.
