Aside from tiredness and unsound feeling, my taste buds are also not in good form. I eat a little during lunch and I’m having some sweet potato in my snacks. I look for beverage that can ease the bland taste I have in my mouth. Sweetened and carbonated drinks should be at control so I avoided them the best I can. To quench my thirst, I drink coconut water with lots of ice in it and it is so right and refreshing. Photo Credit: pixabay.com

I like coconut water because aside from the refreshing feeling and the sweetness of the water, it is also good for the kidneys. I used to buy young coconut regularly for the water but I stopped when the vendor in the nearby market left.

I agree and I think cheaper than carbonated beverage. One coconut cost 25 pesos here. You have the meat and the water. A 300ml carbonated beverages here usually valued at 18 pesos.

@amitkokiladitya Yeah, carbonated is cheaper though but if you compare the content, you get more from the coconut.

I regularly buy coconut and drink the juice, plus eat the flesh, for my kidney. Doctor's order. Good you love coconut. But even if not required for medical reasons, I love the coconut. It's the miracle fruit for me.

@ZedSmart I am pretty sure it is because of the processing, I bought a few times but they have a weird taste.

You are right Ms. Anna. Those in bottle or tetra pack has an altered taste maybe because of the processing. It's best when it's freshly pick from the tree and you can drink the water immediately.

I love tender coconut water and I have them quite regularly in summer. I don't have them much in winter. But in any weather, I love their refreshing taste.
