Eating ice cream and drinking soda

Looks like it won't be long before I seriously get diabetes here. I mean ever since my tooth extraction! Not to mention I've gotten into drinking coke more often than before. Though my gums hurts a bit, it's nothing compare before it was removed. I do have regrets though to which all could have been avoided if I wasn't afraid to approach a dentist. I'm happy that it's removed.

Oh man, kick that soda habit - seriously! The pain after an extraction will go away - just make sure the area is kept clean - no more soda !!!

@Letranknight2015 It will get better . . . but if it gets worse (which hopefully it will not) then go back to the dentist right away!

I don't want to sound like I am telling you what to do, but you seriously do not want diabetes and soda is horrible for your teeth. I quit drinking soda years ago, but I do drink some, like maybe a cup once a year. I know that's extreme, but even if you cut in half the amount you drink, that's better than nothing.

@Letranknight2015 Not now you don't have the will to just quit, but are you able to cut back? Like I don't know how much you drink, I use to drink at least 2-3 cans a day, more on weekends and vacations. But I just started out drinking only one can a day.

If only I had that discipline @Carmelanirel2 of cutting soda. I guess because i couldn't find my cold or hot compress. And I couldn't fit a plastic bag of ice in the freezer for the moment.

Glad it is better than before. If you change your diet you might avoid diabetes. I went on a diet for that reason.

@Letranknight2015 The big thing to cut out is sugar and high starch foods like potatoes and pasta.

I have tooth extraction too and I think I need another one but I don't want to pay attention to this pain. I'm afraid of tooth extraction now. I like softdrinks but not everyday
