(There's a TL;DR at the bottom)
No one could deny the ornate beauty of the manor we found ourselves staying in over the weekend. Each room was decorated in it's own style or color scheme, each seeming to have it's own theme. The old mixed in with the new as antiquated furnishings were adorned with bright pastel rugs, throws and tapestries.
My friends and I were enjoying this diversion from our reality, but we weren't the only party of people enjoying the amenities and events this grand estate had to offer. There were several other groups and we were told that we could expect a sort of scavenger hunt to end our stay. A farewell event where we had the possibility of taking home any number of things we desired, free of charge.
I had my eye on something you might not expect. No, I wasn't looking at the many books in the library on offer, but instead the beautiful chaise lounge that was decorated in gold plaiting with plush cushioning. It would be the perfect addition to my own reading room back home.
I chafed my hands together as the event coordinator announced the rules of the hunt, both excited and nervous for what was to come.
TL;DR: Part of a dream that I had wherein my friends and I were staying at a beautiful manor home with lots of exciting events.

I'm glad you think so. I didn't think so either, but some (second language English speakers mostly) struggle with longer discussions.

I'm sorry! I hate when I wake up from terrible dreams. This one I had wasn't very pleasant, though I made it seem that it was.
