Updating Your Profile

Hey, me again! I am at work but I'm bored because there's nothing for me to do at the moment. There isn't a lot of point in me being here but I've got to work my hours.
I have just updated my profile on here. I think it's the first time I've done so since the beginning of myLot! I was having a look at my followers and people I follow when I saw that one bio contained a link to a website. I wondered if I might be able to add a link to my own.
As I wandered over to my profile, I saw that there was a link to one of my websites - my poetry blog. I have no idea if anyone from here had ever clicked to take a look. I've moved that linked but it is in my bio along with my WordPress link. In the main website box, I've now put the link to my Vocal profile. I keep talking about it, and it is where I do most of my writing at the moment.
There isn't much else in my bio. Mostly because there is a very small word limit! I also tried to update my city - well, I did put my nearest city on there because my home town isn't on the list and it didn't seem possible to clear the box once something was in it.
Updating profiles isn't something that really occurs to me. I updated my Facebook profile when I got married but only with my name and relationship change.
It seems I may be waffling now so I shall stop soon. Have you updated your profile recently - or at all? Did you, like me, forget what was on there?

Every now and then I update
actually I update my pogo mini the most cause that one is very easy

I completely forget about a lot of things. When I share work, I have to write down the places I need to share otherwise I'd miss one or three of them! I went to change my profile information on another couple of sites but then changed my mind about it. Because I used Facebook the most, and I need to keep certain things updated on there, it's the only one I really bother updating most of the time. Even there, I'm sure I've had pretty much the same bio for years.
On my poetry blog, I updated a few years ago because it said my age and the ages of my children. In the end, I just put the years they were born, and I might update again when my eldest leaves university!

According to my profile, I've been here for 14 years so, until yesterday (when I wrote this discussion), I hadn't updated anything (not that I remember anyway) since 2006. It was a good way to while away a few minutes

Did you change it for a particular reason? To change information that was out of date, for example, or do you regular update?
