With the current banned of single use plastic in the locality, purchases are now placed in eco bags at minimal fee unlike with plastic bags before which is free of charge. Small purchases will be placed in paper bags. Most of the stores do not charge for the paper bags. However, this convenience store at the neighborhood imposed charges on their paper bags according to sizes. I was surprised because they should not be doing that especially that they're known to have a higher selling price of their goods compare to the same items in most stores. Gosh!

Our grocery stores - H E B and Walmart - started a BYOB (bring your own bag) policy. But then Walmart started using plastic bags again. I don't know why they changed.
