No, I didn't take my laptop with me, as I'm sure you figured out. That is if you saw my last post. Sometimes I wonder why I bother calling ahead. There were labs, but the nurse said it wouldn't affect the fact I ate breakfast before I left, so that was good, as I ate very well. I was hungry from only having one meal yesterday. Though I didn't have more than my usual breakfast.
My appointment was for ten, but the medication didn't arrive until close to 11. Yeah, a 45-minute wait.
Now, I'm not complaining. In those 45 minutes, I promoted my book, Thread of Evidence along with the others. I told them I have another book coming out this year, and I will have book two, the sequel to Thread of Evidence, Vendetta, published next year, hopefully. I also handed my business card to another patient who is an avid book reader. I used those 45 minutes wisely.
I finished up shortly before 1 p.m. I almost forgot I'm on the fast track now. They started something new with the medication. It will take about two years. The idea is for the medication to take no longer than half an hour. No more sitting for three hours. Today was 2.5, a half-hour less. I'll have that time for four sessions, then they will decrease it. Each time they decrease it will be four sessions. I'm still getting the same amount of medication, and my appointments are still eight weeks apart, I just will be there for less time. And who doesn't want to be in the hospital for less time?
They also found a site they will never again use for the IV. My reaction to that poke even scared the nurse. I hate needles and that poke was painful to the max. It took a while to get my breathing back to normal, it hurt so much. It was right at the base of the thumb. She even needed to retape it as when I moved, it set off the alarm on the machine.
Anyway, I'm home now. I don't go back until the end of March. How was your morning? Thanks for reading. Image is of Thread of Evidence.

Glad you got that done. Some areas are more painful than others for getting needles.

@Courtlynn I wish there was another way to get the medication, but this is the only one that worked so far. It took several medicine changes to find one that worked.
