Sometimes their presence were barely noticed at times abundant. I think that whatever we will do, we can't rid of them and they'll be forever part of our lives. Their sound is annoying moreso the bites. I did regular spraying at home and sometimes double or triple when there abundance are bothering. I once used electric racket to whack them out while they pop out like decrepating crystals. When I was a child, we at home will spread oil on the surface of an enamel plate and strike the mosquitoes on the air. Mosquitoes died as they glued on the plate with oil.

I think they were here when the dinosaur were here so I think it would be very hard to eradicate them since they thrive quite well in all types of climate.

I think they're forever in the ecosystem though our symbiotic relationship is not ideal.

You can buy a UV light that zaps any unwanted bugs or flying creatures at night. We normally use it when we like to barbeque at night or have a drink or two at our back lawn... Also, use some citronella infused products like lotions or oils it is an effective natural mosquito repellant. Don't use aerosol mosquito sprays as they are not a healthy option to kill those creatures. Thanks for your post!

Are UV lights effective? That is interesting. Thank you for the suggestions. Those are noted.

uv light
@ZedSmart They sure are! what's neat about this stuff is that it thrives those pesky mosquitos because UV light attracts them so they just fly in one place. We usually used it when we like to hangout outside since my windows are closed (we have AC inside the house). Ours kinda looks like that on the photo.

I hate mosquitoes too. It's one reason I dislike summer so much - all the pesky insects.

Yes, that is right Ms. Val. Besides, they're carrier of this deadly dengue disease.

I can relate to that. I have read somewhere that people who have type O blood are the usual victims of those mosquitoes. Annoying, isn´t it?

Yeah, I noticed that too. Coiled mosquito killers are not effective anymore. If I use that, I'll be the first to give up rather than the mosquitoes.
