Reports of Unidentified Flying Objects come from all over the world and police officers, pilots and members of the clergy are just some of the (supposedly) reliable witnesses who claim to have seen strange objects in the sky or to have encountered ''little green men'' - usually in some remote place with no witnesses. I have never seen one and I am undecided if they exist or not and, until undeniable proof arrives in the shape of a flying saucer landing on my lawn and a ''little green man'' inviting me on board for a cup of tea, I will remain undecided!

Well I thought I had once. It was on The White Horse Hill in Oxfordshire. It was a glowing golden egg shaped huge thing in the sky. No I was not on acid.

@ScotMac It was not. I was there at the dark of midnight with my lovely Archie and we were discussing Roman soldiers

I have never seen a UFO, but my grandma said she had and I think my mom said she has as well. I had a weird experience when I was younger where I wasn't sure if I was seeing aliens or ghosts because there were weird black objects because it was super dark but all I know is that there was a blinding light that flashed into the room. Then back in the darkness I saw these things reaching to someone who was sleeping above me and I ended up passing out. In the morning the person above me had bruises on her body that looked like hands. So I have no idea what happened that night.

@ScotMac Oh yes! Everyone that morning felt a little uncomfortable. I think that is the reason why I cannot sleep when it is pitch black in a room, it freaks me out.

If you mean an Unidentified Flying object, yes, I have seen it. If you want me to tell you that they were little green men from Mars, no.

To be frank, I believe in UFO but I have not seen one although some friends swear about seeing mysterious lights in the rural areas.

@ScotMac there are so many possibilities about those lights and I agree that it can be just the flashlight of hunters in the mountain.

Those lights were probably the flashlights of people out looking for UFOs

No, but the CNES, the equivalent of the NASA in France, studies since 40 years all the cases of UFOs reported to the police or to them (you can do a declaration online), and tries to explain them. In their stats 3.5% of reports are resisting at any known scientific explanation.... I give you the link if you read French, all reports and explanations are available: full transparency.

In the 1950s and 1960s the US Air Force conducted similar studies and found that all but a very small number of reported instances of UFO activity could be explained by either natural phenomena or human activities of one kind or another. That small number of unexplained instances is interesting!

We thought to have seen one last week, but the local newspapers said that those were American satellites that many have noticed. Well, if they say it, it "could be" true.

Strange how they reveal themselves to TV viewers for more often than to non-TV viewers!
