Day 183 Promise 241 Psalm 105: 42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant. 43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness: 44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labor of the people; 45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD. Do you remember your promises? Do you show up when you say you will? Do you help when you sign your name to help with various projects? Can people depend on you to do what you promise? The psalmist recounted what Israel came through and what they endured and said God remembered His promise to Abraham and brought the people out of Egypt to the Promised Land. God kept His promise. Do you keep yours? As Christians, people look at you to see if you will do what you promise. When you fail, they bring up all your faults and tell you you’re not a good Christian because you can’t keep your promise, even though you kept most of them. No one is perfect. Promises are broken. Isn’t it good to know that in our weakness, God never fails? God kept every promise He made and will continue to keep His promises to His people. His Word never fails. Let’s pray: Father, help me keep the promises I make, just as You keep Your promises. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 5 February 2020 by Valerie Routhieaux

@just4him not yet. But some hopes revived. All I'm praying at present is to keep them intact and they don't get broken this time
