I picked up another random fortune cookie to share another fortune with you guys today. This one reads, "Doubt is the beginning, not the end, of wisdom." I take this fortune to mean that wise people sometimes doubt things in the beginning, which is good because it gives you the chance to think things through and adjust a fix if possibly needed. Another words, you should doubt things first and not after they are done or completed. Sometimes it is too late to make corrections when the process has already begun or ended. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one. I've been thinking about this one for awhile now and I even put it back in the stack of fortunes one day to leave for another day. I can see where this one can go several different ways, so I can't wait to see what you come up with! Photo Credit: Pixabay, public domain

To some extent, yes it is true but I'd like to think that doubt is a sign of both the presence and lack of wisdom.

Yes doubt and you can discover new avenues. If one accepts everything as it is, one will never learn..so say Ocean lol

Very true, just like brother Chance. If you don't take a chance, you will never know how it turns out!

Certainly an interesting quote. I guess, to me, it means thinking things through before embarking on them and not just following someone else's advice or leadership.
