Visiting Buddhist temples today

We’re just about to leave to visit the Buddhist temples in Lumbini, Nepal. Many countries have built their own shrines to Buddha in the area. It’s just a pity they couldn’t have joined forces and built one big temple and spent the rest on good works. But unfortunately that’s not the way the world works, is it?
We changed our hotel room as the one on the street was too noisy. Thankfully, we slept better last night. However, the toilet doesn’t flush properly but Vince was able to get it working again. We don’t really feel like changing rooms again and we leave tomorrow.
I wrote about the table-tennis (ping pong) game last discussion. Today we saw two young lads paying a game in the street. I think there is something similar in the western world called ‘shove-halfpenny’. They flick a bigger disc to get the smaller discs through the holes in the corner. Do you have anything similar in your little corner of the world?

@JudyEv Yes. It used to be very popular indoor family game in our subcontinent before digital games invaded our lives. We still have it in our family and enjoy playing it. It was one of our favorite games to play in childhood especially on bad weather days.

We used to play that game in the picture. It is called Pool with the round objects made of wood. The big one is the cue ball. Yes, we use a stick called cue just like in billiards.
