Typing

Right now I work one job, then do stuff online. A few of my coworkers work extra jobs or are transitioning into new jobs and are taking time off.
From now until the end of the year the person I split my shift with is doing both, and there will be substitutes.
Sometimes the substitutes say "I will work with this one, but not that one" and sometimes the para facilitator has to take a shift.
Today I am typing up a routine for my morning kiddo. Things change from time to time. Next Wednesday the para facilitator will fill in for me while I fill in for Jessica.
So, typing is what I shall be doing for a bit before work today.

It was pretty easy because I had taken the time to organize what I needed to type up while I was at work then just wanted to type it and save it in my computer.

Is this like a game of musical chairs, but with employees at work? haha I hope it doesn't get too confusing for everybody!

I think they have decided not to mess with me too much, and they will stick with that plan if they want me to stay. For a number of reasons it has been musical chairs with employees all year.

Jessica, who shares two students with me, is not coming back next year. Her future full time employer wants her to commit to one day a week until summer when she will go full time. One of the students we share is non verbal, visually impaired and in a wheel chair. He wears diapers. There is almost no one who will substitute with him. On top of that Jessica coaches cross country in the spring and leaves early sometimes. On February 12 Shari (the para facilitator) will cover my time with that student and I will work with the other student all day instead of just in the afternoon.

@GardenGerty I commend you for the work you do. It's not for everyone. It takes a special kind of person

We were so short of subs one day that our Principal had to sub for our lead teacher in our program.

Why doesn't the facilitator fill in for Jessica? Wouldn't that be more "facile"?

She may be filling in in another building. The idea is to get substitute paras if possible and only have Shari work in building if no one else will. I am typing up a general schedule for whoever has to do my job.

I did. Some others maybe did not. I love my little guy and working with him keeps me in shape.

The adults often are more trouble than the students.
