The chairs were so uncomfortable, and the desks were too short. I don't know why the coordinators thought that these furnishings would work for adults, when it hardly worked for school aged children. I was in the third row about four seats back. There were three men in front of me, each fidgeting as much as I was. The two behind me were silent, so silent that I jumped the first time one of them spoke. We were all in training for a new job. We had work packets in front of us and a woman in a grey skirt and blouse was instructing us through the material. We each had name badges. The guy in front of me was named Aaron, and when he wasn't fidgeting in his seat he was finding other ways to annoy me. I seriously hoped I wouldn't be working with him. The two behind me were named Harold and George and they both looked a lot like guys I'd gone to school with. They acted as thick as thieves too, which made me wonder if they were my old schoolmates. I just wanted this first orientation class to be done with. I seriously didn't expect such a small outfit like this would have so much orientation material. --- Part of a dream I had. No, this doesn't foretell me getting a new job.
