We had to hide her Now! Her brother was safe, he's 19 and can't be taken away from us by the child protective services. His sister, however, is only 14 and they could easily take her away. We had been driving around for awhile, just trying to find her. I don't know where she went, but none of us blamed her for running. When we finally did find her, it took a lot of coaching to get her into the vehicle. She was even terrified to come with us, though we verified that she knew who we were. She was in shock, but not shaken enough to not realize who we were. We skidded into the driveway, and I threw my coat over her and guided her into the house. I was full on panicking, looking around at where we could justifiably hide her without seeming suspicious. I sure wish I knew where her brother was though, even if he was safe from being taken away. I decided to hide her in my room, under some covers. I put some extra bedding towards her feet, and stuffed a pair of socks to look like feet then put that at the bottom. If they did peek in, maybe they would see her feet and think she was an adult. Then I called my aunt. (Part of a dream I had) How would you handle a situation where your family was in threat of being taken away from you for no valid reason?
