We had to! (2)

My aunt was relieved to hear from me, and told me that my cousins would be over shortly to help me try to find my nephew. Oh, and my sister and brother in law, but then we weren't really worried about finding them at the moment.
A few minutes passed by and two of my cousins and their spouses came rambling into the house. They asked where I'd hidden my niece and I pointed to my bedroom, Lena walked down the hall with her husband Guthrie, while the rest of my cousins followed me to the den.
A few minutes later my niece came running down the hall, tears in her eyes. "You need to be hiding!" I tried to keep the fear out of my voice, I knew the child was already afraid and wondering where her parents and brother were. That's when Lena came in the room followed by Guthrie. There was a bag packed of some of my things, which made no sense to me.
That's when I looked around at my other cousins and stood up, ready to wring all their necks. "You're working with CPS, aren't you? HOW COULD YOU!"
It took them awhile to calm me down, and even when I was calm I was still seething inside. Apparently they thought my niece would be better off at another home instead of with any of us. My nephew? Even though he was 19, CPS had picked him up and he was being evaluated. Not to go to another home, no, but to be taken and put in an institution. There was nothing wrong with him! Sure, he was a bit of a brat, but he was intelligent and could go far in life.
What in the world was going on?
I tried to fight CPS when they showed up, I tried to beg for them allow me to take custody of my niece, but they wouldn't budge.
I cried when they took her away.
Then I woke up.
If your new to my posts, welcome. Don't worry, most of them revolve around dreams I've had, history, or books I've read....
Do you remember your dreams?

Yes, almost always. And they seem to follow one of just a few paths. Work is one of the main things I dream about.

@LindaOHio You think you could dream of nice vacations, afterall you no longer have to work. Stubborn subconscious.

@ScribbledAdNauseum As I've mentioned before, many times it's about a project that I must finish; and there is something keeping me from doing it correctly. VERY stressful.

@amitkokiladitya Yep. Most of the time my first few posts are about a dream I had.

@RebeccasFarm I wish that also. I could feel the worry and rage coming off of him too. I am just glad that the whole dream seems to be fading from my memory. It was terrifying having to try to keep my niece hidden.

I'm sorry that it's not working for you. I wish I knew something more to help you with dreaming pleasant dreams and being able to remember them.
My brother was in this dream so it was bittersweet. In the dream he was facing away from me when I saw him.

How can you ever sleep again after most of these dreams.

Most of the time I don't feel as scared as I should. Last night's dream was scary, but I didn't feel overly scared until I got to one part in the dream.

I was on edge while reading your post. And a sigh of relief at the end LOL. I one time dreamed of my childhood crush.

Oh, were you happy with that dream, or was it a nervewracking dreaming?

@yoalldudes Oh yes, I've had dreams like that. Sometimes the people around me are younger, but I am the age I am now. It's weird.
