"pat ourselves on the back night"

So I didn't know till this morning when I looked at some news. Last night was another "pat ourselves on the back night". That is right yet another award show for those that just can't get enough attention. This time around Hollyweird held the Oscars.
Does anyone even watch these shows or care at all? I guess someone does since it is all over the news today like it is really important news. I'm not sure how it affects my life at all. I really could careless about who won what and who wore what closes.
I seen a little story about some female actor who is 10 years old and do you know she carried a purse that retails for $2,495.00. Are there a lot of 10 year old kids out there that can afford to pay $2,495.00 for a purse? Not in the world I live in there isn't.
They share their political beliefs with us and honestly I could care less what they think. They live in a total different world than I do. They can't relate to my life and I can't relate to theirs.

I am a huge lifelong movie buff. Movies are my passion but I stopped caring about and watching the Oscars years ago even before all this political nonsense began. People may not realize this fact but the Oscars were "corrupt" from the very beginning.

I didnt watch them. But I see they had to go all the way to S Korea to find a film so they could pass over The Joker for political reasons.
