Yikes--I got home originally around 2:15, I think. This morning I left the house around nine to run some errands before I caught the bus to the Health Center to get to my appointment. I was early and had some time to kill, so I went to the Hallmark store to pick up something I'd gotten online (the Star Wars figure thing). I had $2.00 on my Hallmark rewards card, so I went to their website and found something around that price. After that, I walked over to the shopping center kitty-corner from the bus stop to 1)stop at my bank to deposit a check that I got as a refund, then to the drug store, where I was told I would find empty spray bottles, but here were none. So, I went back to the first shopping center to catch the bus to the Health Center for my appointment. Even with all my "killing time" I still got to my appointment an hour early. So, I went to sit down, then I saw two ladies with a sweet looking Golden Lab with a vest on. I recognized one of the ladies as an administrator or something there. I went over, and it turned out the dog was a therapy dog, and it was her "first day on the job". They had brought her there to see how she would react to the atmosphere. I sat and talked to them and petted the dog, who was very well behaved (comparing her to Angel). Every once in a while someone went by with a noisy cart and the dog would look, but she didn't get up or bark or anything. After an hour the ladies had to go, and they thanked me for helping "test" the dog. I went to the "suite" where my appointment was, and had to wait a while longer, but I had my appointment. It went well, then I went and caught the bus back to the shopping center where my bank was, and went over to a store that was going out of business to see if I could get a good deal, but they had already closed their doors. So, I went back to the first shopping center, went back to the Hallmark store, got Valentine's for my nephews, then went to catch a bus home. Currently, my step counter reads 15,650. I think I walked enough today. I need to find something to eat, as I didn't have lunch while I was out. I hope that you have had a great day/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land !
