@rebelann I would not be surprised if he had the flu. He did stay home yesterday because someone else was sick. Actually the whole family has been under the weather. I have had my flu shot, pneumonia shots. But kids are out all over the school. The bad thing is that people send their kids back too soon and they relapse, or get something worse. This little guy cannot speak, but I am with him four and a half hours a day most days.

My morning guy was out sick. He needed to go home yesterday, but no one would come get him as he did not have a fever.

I hope he didn't have anything contagious @GardenGerty It amazes me that parents don't get that being ill doesn't always mean having a fever.

It is good when you can stay at home and relax.

People make decorations or models with it. Kids like to make things with it. Then it dries hard, like plaster but you just dry it on a shelf you do not bake it like ceramic or porcelain.

@just4him He does not have the flu but someone at his house does. He has been home two days, where he should be to get well.

My morning kid was absent. He did not feel well yesterday. I did a lot of fill in of things that often do not get done.

I have a hard time finishing things as well. Lately I even have a hard time starting.

Yes, sauerkraut is made from cabbage, but it is fermented, so it is not ready yet. We eat it as a side with sausage, and pork dishes. I am a paraprofessional. That means I am not a teacher, but an assistant. I do have special training to work with the kids in our program.

@GardenGerty Thanks for enlightening me. I didn't know that it's fermented. I am sure you do enjoy your job. It's a noble job.
