Doctor, Doctor.

I would want my doctor to be friendly and would tell me honestly whatever my condition is. Last Monday, we met a new internistt for my husband. The doctor was referred by the health card. The doctor when we got there is definitely full of himself. Bragging about the myths and facts of different diseases and lecturing the patients as if all patients are doing the wrong things in life. He is contesting every studies made in the field of medicine because according to him it is not valid. I'm am asking myself why is he still in practice? It will be the first and last visit with that doctor.

When I go to a doctor that does not suit me, I hever go back, even if that means losing the money I paid for the appointment.

Sometimes you have to try more than one before finding the doctor for you.

Check out credentials first. Usually, doctors post their diplomas on the wall. If none, then he did not graduate in a reputable med school. When it comes to health, go to good hospitals.

@rakski Oh, I see. Sigh. Sorry, I don't have a health card. I do not know how that works. But please make sure your health condition is not compromised because of incompetent health practitioners. There are many who got licenses but are not good doctors.

Sounds like he is full of talk! When my kids were very little, I had to find another pediatrician because he would not listen to anything I said . . . he was completely insensitive to my concerns and everything I said he just shook his head to. Yep - better to find another doctor.

What's the problem with that doctor? If he can make you get well then he is a good doctor

What a jerk! It’s important to find an intelligent, excellent, and sympathetic doctor with a good bedside manner. I hope you continue looking.

He is intelligent alright and his talk is excellent but the practice, the attitude and the bedside manner is the worst
