Spring season gaining foothold here now

We had good winters. There were very chilly days. There was a stretch of almost two weeks with a number of days that saw testing low temperatures and many years' records being broken. Till now also, there is some chill in the air in the early mornings and late evenings. Yet now, days are getting warmer. Blooming flowers in the parks signify that spring is gaining foothold. I just hope that temperatures do not rise too rapidly now. But well, weather can be unpredictable. Isn't it?
