Hey there, everyone. Today's Daily Blogging Challenge is "Your biggest insecurity?" Well, I'm self-conscious, especially when I have an acne breakout. For example, I'll either have to take pictures from a certain angle, or I won't take them at all. I used to get picked on as a teenager for acne, and while most would say I shouldn't worry about what others think of me, words do hurt. I also worry that someone is mad at me when they start treating or talking to me differently. I'll start going back through recent interactions, wondering what I did wrong. Most of the time, it turns out it wasn't me at all, which is one of the reasons why I don't ask. Either I'm afraid the answer is yes, or I'm afraid they're gonna think I'm crazy. Okay, I think that answers today's challenge. I'll be back soon for my other posts. Photo Credit: I made this little graphic using the online PhotoPea editor. They supplied the background, and I added the message.

I had terrible acne as a kid. It made me self-conscious too. I always worry if I do or say something to offend someone, even here. I don't need to be everyone's friend, but I don't want enemies either.

I agree with all of this. I've been through it with acne, and I don't want to make enemies either. I'm still trying to walk a line between defending myself/others and making enemies, as I always feel they'll blur together. I'm also not good with conflict so I tend to stay quiet unless someone really crosses a line with me.

@tammys85 Person beware when you cross my line. After the fallout, I close myself off for quite a while.

@just4him If a line is reallyyyy crossed -i.e., speaking ill of my late Father just to hurt me - first you're gonna hear it from me, and then I'm gonna cut you off.

I don't have it nearly as much as I used to, but I do deal with breakouts from time to time.... like now. :-/

@Courtlynn Lol. It's about 85% over for me, as long as I watch my diet, stress, etc.

Nice graphic. I find that as I go along with my writing particularly my writing jobs since I have to always check with Grammarly I am adding to my vocabulary constantly

Thanks! There's nothing wrong with checking Grammarly or proofreading, it's an important part of our job.
