Climbing the CN Tower

My daughter has always suggested that we do it and it's not something that interests me AT ALL! It did make me curious this morning to find out how many steps it actually entailed so I looked it up. Apparently you can climb to the first level ( A metal staircase reaches the main deck level after 1,776 steps, and the SkyPod 100 m (328 ft) above after 2,579 steps;) It isn't opened to the public except for a couple of times a year for charity. Pretty sure that I couldn't do even the 1.776 steps let alone up to the Sky Pod. I will take the elevator thank you lol, but I have stepped onto the glass floor and that alone is creepy.
Who has been there for dinner and has anyone done the charity climb??

That is really a long way up... even going up on the elevator! But the view is quite amazing!!
