I broke down...

screencap I took of my invoice for my new camera

...and bought myself a new camera. I'm getting paid again this month, so I'll have the money to pay my credit card. Even thought I'm somewhat used to it now, it's just too much rigmarole for me to take pictures with my phone, and a lot of times, I still don't like the quality. Plus, to get my photos I have to go to Instagram, get a screencap, then put it in Microsoft Paint, crop all of the stuff off that's got nothing to do with the picture, resize it, and then I can use it on a post or something. Too much rigmarole. With my camera, I can take a photo, zoom in with a telephoto lens if I want (sure wish I'd had that with the photos of the Blue Heron), take my camera home, stick in the memory card, and boom--my photos are in my files. The camera I bought is the same brand as the one I misplaced, but it's updated a bit--one can take photos about ten feet deeper under water than my currently misplaced camera boasted (not that I plan to do that, but...) and a couple of other things I'd have to go back to the description to see what they were. Anyway, if I ever find the camera I misplaced, great, but if not--well, I'll have this one.

I hope you will enjoy your new camera! It looks like a good one. I haven't used one in years because the phone camera covers all of my needs at the moment.
