Irises, etc are starting to bloom...

When I came back home from walking Angel this morning, I noticed that a couple of the irises under the front window are getting ready to bloom.
Now if only I could catch up with all of the weeds. 
That vineagar/soap spray that I made and have sprayed a couple of times seems to be working, but the recipe said not to spray it too close to desirable plants, so I guess I'll still need to do a bit of pulling...
