Movies are made to evoke emotions. Sometimes movies can make you cry, laugh, feel angry etc. There was one movie that made me cry buckets and it was My Sister’s Keeper (2009) which stars Cameron Diaz, Abigail Breslin and Alec Baldwin. I won’t spoil the movie for anyone who hasn’t watched this movie. I can only say that this movie is such a tear-jerker, I cried and cried throughout. Have there been any movie that made you cry like a baby?

What's that none with James Garner (I think) about the older couple? She has Alzheimer's and he tells her the story of their life together whenever he visits her. That one gets me every time.

@sweetashoney I’ve watched The Notebook. Yes, it is a very sad movie. I cried watching the movie. Nicholas Sparks has the ability to write stories that are so sad.

Movies about someone suffering from a disease or ailments can make you cry. In fact, this movie My Sister’s Keeper is about a child who’s suffering from a disease. I remember the movie Love Story is also about the female protagonist suffering from leukemia, I think. And that movie made me cry too.

I literally just cried to a small part of a video game that I am not even playing. I am such a baby, I cry to so many things. I think the movie that has made me cry the most and still effects me to this day is Grave Of The Fireflies. It is one of the most beautiful and tragic movies I have ever seen.

I’ve never heard of the movie Grave of the Fireflies. What is it about and who’s in it?

@UmiNoor It is very, very sad especially when it is pretty much a real story, I don't know if it is based on a true story because it is realistic enough to make it seem like this actually happened.

I think the last movie that really made me cry was "Hachi: A Dog's Tale". Richard Gere stars in the movie and it's about his and the dog's relationship. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out.

@UmiNoor Oh yes, I have watched movies about animals that makes me feel the same way. But no, this is not that kind of movie, it's nothing like a documentary.

I’m not into movies about animals. It makes me feel like I’m watching a National Geographic or Discovery Channel documentary. But I had in the past watched movies about dogs and cats and I did enjoy them. I might just check this out since I do like Richard Gere.

I watched Ghost and it is quite sad when Demi Moore lost Patrick Swayze but then I was so shocked when she kissed Whoopi Goldberg. I know for her she’s kissing her husband but the scene took me by surprise. I’ve never heard of the second movie that you mentioned Pure Country?

I’ve never heard of this movie. From the short synopsis, I guess it must be a family movie. Usually, movies with children can make anyone cry unless it’s a horror movie like Orphan or Case 39.

@Mavic123456 When my daughter heard me crying while watching this movie, she thought I had a fight with my husband and that was why I was crying and when she found out that it’s because of the movie, she laughed at me. It’s pretty embarrassing for anyone to see you crying while watching a movie. What did you tell your colleague about your swollen eyes?

@yoalldudes That is usually the case. When you can relate to the characters on screen, you will feel what the characters feel and you will care what happens to them.

I’m too quite a sensitive person and I can cry easily especially if I watch scenes that are about familial relationships. My Sister’s Keeper is about family relationship.

I think it was the last part of the movie called "Me Before You" that made me cry, but I just shed a few tears only, that's all.

I’ve never watched Creed or Creed 2. I don’t really like boxing movies or any movies with Sylvester Stallone in it. I always have a very low opinion of him as an actor. I wouldn’t think that a movie is good if SS is in it.

I watched Joker. I felt quite sad for the Joker but it didn’t move me enough to cry. I just felt angry with how he’s been treated and I was shocked at the violence that it drove him to. I’ve never heard of the other movie Chhichhore. Is it a foreign movie?
