With whom do you dread conversations?

Today, I have to go into the apartment office, and have a discussion with them about a few things - and I dread it. Not on purpose because dreading it does no good. Taking care of things as soon as possible is always my preference. However, the apartment manager has been gone for a few weeks so this is my first chance in awhile. Do you dread conversations you have with certain people, groups, or businesses? I guess I dread conversations with my cable and internet company too.

Yes, I had to have a dreaded conversation with my cable company yesterday about a $50+ increase in our bill. Fortunately they were able to offer a better rate.

I wouldn't say I dread conversations with anyone but there are people I would rather not talk to like those awful people who ring trying to sell something. I cut them short and say "no thank you".

I was a telemarketer for two weeks, and it was terrible. I didn't have the heart to badger people so the first time they said no I would let it go. They want you to keep harping on it.

@AmbiePam I wouldn't be any good at it either as I wouldn't like to badger people.

There is a neighbour that I try not to make eye contact with because I dislike conversations with him.

I am not sure dread is the right word, but I dislike having a lot of conversations.

Yes, I do dread some conversations. Especially with my mom. I try not to worry too much about it, but sometimes, I can't always help it.
