I'm worried about him...

An Uncle of mine is really hooked on investing money online. Although he did have some luck on it, he also had his fair share of falling off on internet scams. Last year wasn't a good year for him because his earnings and effort got swept by a scam earning program. (I don't want to mention the program because I might get a lot of backlash from it but you can definitely recognize it by the above photo of this post).
He did stopped investing his time and money on that platform and reported it and had to get by his life on other income means away from online stuffs. Fast forward this year, when my Dad gave him a call to catch up and to my surprise, He went back doing that online earning program (but from another site).
I really thought he learned his lesson. I don't mind him investing his money because he has every right to do so. But it's just really concerning that he might get scammed again. I'm worried about him.
How do you deal with a family relative that are hooked to risky earning platforms online?

They are similar to gamblers. If it's their extra money it's alright but if it's hard earned money and could be useful for more necessary needs something is wrong.

Yeah, that's so right but he doesn't have gambling tendencies though i feel like he is just really lured on how much income potential it can create but the thing that really concerns me is that he didn't learned from the past. Thanks for your response.

@StyleWithSense we can't blame people for believing in quick rich scheme. But so good to be true.

A person should know how to differentiate a scam site from a legit one be it fiat or cryptocurrency. One giveaway or red flag is when interests offered are too high or too good to be true.
There are legit sites out there that offer a modest amount of interest for their cryptocurrency, " defi" or decentralized finance is a new thing that's coming out now, people should be diligent when it comes to their hard earned money , bitcoin or whatever and make their own research. A defi company should be licenced, government regulated and legally compliant and most importantly insured.
If what he does is trading instead of investing then it might be a legit platform but it's risky business that can make a person win or lose a lot like gambling.

Thanks for sharing your insights about Crypto Currency. Yes it is really important to do some background search before investing into such earning programs. I feel like he is investing to trading bit-currencies I'm not really sure about the details though cos i don't want to sound nosy about his online income. But in the past, he did earned some it's just this one online program he invested that he got scammed big time and I do hope this new platform he is using isn't like that. It's one thing that i am worried of. Thanks for your response and for sharing your knowledge on this type of earning program.

Thank you for your kind words. Yeah, the family is hoping he won't fall from that scheme again. Though this one is a different website but the format is most the same... just hope and pray that it won't happen ever again. Oh i see, that's good you'll be able to explain and talk more about earning opportunities to them.
