It's funny the importance I assign to dates. I try and trick myself into being more hopeful, kind, productive, etc just because it's a new month. I know it is silly and still sometimes it works. So heres to hoping that I am a better person by the end of the month, than I am today.

I think it's good to establish goals each month. I'm sure the success rate of having monthly goals is much more attainable than say having only a yearly goal (think of how many new year's resolutions are broke within the first couple of months). I do try to set monthly goals, but sometimes they are more tired not to the actual dates, but to seasons or events I have planned.
It is my hope that we are all much better people at the end of this month than we are today!

I love spring so I tend to do better this season than any other. (Although when I am in the middle of each season I convince myself it's my favorite - I guess I am fickle now that I put it in writing!!!!

@Writingghost I would love spring more if my allergies didn't flare up so bad! But otherwise, it's a great season! But I think I'm like you, when I'm in each season, I convince myself that it's my favorite!

@moffittjc Spring here means less snow - allergies arrive in summer. I do love living with all the seasons, although I am in a major snow storm right now.

That is true. Although I do so love a little help from my friends. They tend to help me stay on track.

I'm sure you don't have to try very hard to be a better person...:-)
