It Would Be Nice If MyLot Did This

There are times when I tend to go into someone's profile and scroll down. Surely there are posts I have missed, right? I can't read them all. None of us can, really.
But I wish what would happen is that once a post has been clicked into and read by me, that either the link to that post would change color so I know that I have already read it, or that there would be some other indication letting me know, "Hey, you've already seen this one."
Do you think MyLot should do this? Do you think it would be helpful?

That is a great idea! I am sure it's not a piece of cake to do. Now I don't think that's available but it would also be great if we can sort the discussions or filter them... Like, for example, let's say I wanna go into your profile and read discussions you've written in December of last year, instead of scrolling down forever until I reach those dates would be nice if I can just specify the time range and it would bring up only those discussions...

@lovebuglena Yeah. I think your idea would probably be more involved. Still a great idea and still something I think the powers that be could take the time to work on, even if it takes a while to get it done. Nothing makes the site better than making the site better.

@LindaOHio Kinda did in a backwards sort of way at the suggestion of @MALUSE. Tagged admin in one of my comments. Maybe they will see it, maybe they won't. I'd be interested to know admin's thoughts though.

@porwest Yes. It has happened so many times with me. Sometimes we get so many posts with similar topic and tag. So we might be confused. This feature is definitely a good suggestion.

I have often wondered about this myself and thought that it might be useful. I don't know how much programming would be involved, though. Probably more than you or I might suspect and I don't think that resources are available for that at the moment. There's no harm in asking @myLotBugs to add it to the 'wish list', though!

I don't know how much programming would be involved either. But I do understand about the time and resources to make it happen. I do think it would be a nice feature to add at some point in the not to distant future though. It does seem, based on the feedback here, that many would like it.
