Another Update From Me

Yesterday, I mentioned that I was assigned at the gate to welcome members and visitors. I was the team leader as well. Our Sunday service starts at 10 AM, as ushers, we are scheduled to go to church early. Call time 8:30 AM. I was at church 8:26 AM. The gate was open but the door was closed. I waited for the caretaker to arrive. As ushers, we prepared the message notes. The message notes should perforated. It was a success! My team did a great job welcoming people. Our welcome and smiles made people at home. I assume!
In the afternoon, we had the free film showing called Breakthrough, a movie based on true story of a boy drown in a freezing lake. Was pronounced dead by the doctor. A boy died, a mother prayed, and a miracle happened. We had 624 visitors, and out of this number, my group mate invited 248 people. Yes, 248! They are all 5th year Engineering students. I had the chance to talked to 6 of them. We had sharing time after the movie. It was a success!

I know, my former officemate who works in Japan said they are not allowed to go out. So no work for them. I don't know until when.

Most people that we greeted, smiled back to us some others did not even turn their heads towards us when we greeted them. But it was totally okay.

Thank you! I was on given 1 assignment for this month! I can rest and stay seated in the sanctuary next week until the last Sunday of March. I pray success for the other teams on their posts.

@thelme55 it is not new. It is been operating for 20 plus years. It is not as huge as Victory or CCF.
