Nice weather

Not quite as nice as today, but tomorrow will be nice. Back to work. I will work all day with the little guy, Jessica is gone and the sub does not feel comfortable working with the child in the wheel chair. That is, if the sub is well. I do not know what will happen if she is not. She was in the building Friday and got sick and went home. Lots of Influenza A and B at the school. Not for me, though. Sometimes I wish I could work in both places at one time.

Let's hope it's "only" influenza.

So far we are having a lot of Influenza A and B, plus an intestinal virus. I am not sick with any of it. Jessica was out working into her new job that she will have when summer comes. The sub came in but my other kiddo was out sick or something so she could fill in elsewhere.

@LadyDuck You are very much correct. I feel my husband may be more vulnerable than I am. He seems to have lots of illnesses.

@GardenGerty We live 5 miles from north of Italy, the only thing we can do is to wash our hands and pay attention. A border does not stop the virus, it's just like pretending to stop the wind.

It really increases the workload if someone is missing.

Take care and be careful to do some precautions to avoid the influenza.

I get my flu shot, wash my hands a lot. I eat foods with herbs and spices and try to be healthy.

I think sometimes we stay inside too much and do not get fresh air to help us do better. Is influenza not so common in your country?

Not good to have so much flu around. Be careful out there.

I spend a lot of time just one on one with individual kids and they do not spend a lot of time in the general group so there is less exposure for me.

It has seemed to me a lot of staff have gotten sick this year. I do not know if they have weakened immune systems or if they did not get a shot.

After a while you build up your immune system, usually.

I thank God that I have not caught any colds or flu, I have been exposed many times.

I get the shot, but I also think those many exposures can help build your immunity.
