This just brought up on Good Morning Football.
Chicago has been talking with Cincinnati about maybe getting Dalton from them.
Now Chicago has committed to current quarterback, Mitch Trubisky every time they were asked about a new quarterback.
What would happen if they did get a new Quarterback? Where would that put Chicago if they really did get Dalton?
Another possibility to ponder on as we wait for the new season to kick off.

They shouldn’t. Ohio professional football teams (I use that term loosely) have a long, ugly history of disastrous #1 draft picks.

@JordanLader — I don’t know, maybe there’s something in the state constitution that only one professional team can be good at any given time. No Indians/Reds World Series, no Browns/Bengals Super Bowl, and definitely not in the same year! Right after the Reds won in ‘90 they started a slide while the Indians started their run of AL Central titles/trips to the World Series.

@FourWalls It would help if the Bengals and the Browns would get some weapons and decent coaches. One year they don't have decent players then they get the players and the coaches seem lost on how to handle it and fail.
