F4 Tornado Hits Nashville Overnight

Rain all night here. Thunderstorms. Woke up to the news of at least one tornado in the downtown Nashville area. For now the death toll is up to 22. The number continues to rise as I watch the news. 16 were from one area. Horrific damage to the downtown area. Still many people are unaccounted for. Thousands without power. Houses and building demolished. The sun is shining here. Thankfully things are safe in my area. Feeling thankful to be alive. So many sad stories on the news. These storms can happen so fast and cause devastation. All the families are in my thoughts. Now they have said the tornado was an F3, which means winds were at least 150 miles per hour. *UPDATE 24 have died in tornado

I heard something about those. That is sad, and a horrific loss of life. The weather channel last night was featuring a couple who lost their home in a flood in the Nashville area several years ago. Thank God you are safe.

Yes it is devastating. Houses, businesses, cars, all a mangled mess, some completely gone.

I didn't even know there was a tornado there until like 30mins ago. So scary. Hope they don't find too many more deaths

That is the worst news I heard today. I am putting all those involved in my prayers tonight. That is scary to be caught unawares during the early morning hours.
