Do you have a shortage?

Last week I bought hand sanitizer, and it was readily available (a regular occurrence). Today (although I didn't buy any) I noticed surgical masks available for purchase.
However, I live in Oklahoma, and other places have been hit hard by the coronavirus. Where do you live, and what are you having a shortage of, if anything at all?
It must be hard for a lot of businesses to stay afloat with bans on going certain places to avoid exposure; I wouldn't know where to begin on the variety of people and things being affected.
I'm not worried, but my immune system is not compromised like a lot of others so I get their concern as much as I'm able to. My sister is even taking her family in a Disney Cruise in September.

There are no masks to be found here. I am hearing that places have run out of hand santizers, but I found a stash in the store and only bought 1 as we don't really use them in our house. People are buying up water and other supplies here, but for the most part we can still pretty much buy anything. But definitely there is an air of panic shopping here. I am seeing on FB in other places things have literally gone off the shelves!

I am a fatalist. If I get corona virus ( or other ailment), so be it. II don´t think that a virus will be stopped by a mask.

I haven't heard there are shortages anywhere here, but then this state hasn't really been affected, only a few who have been tested.

my daughter hasn't said anything about a shortage but since the reports in Tampa she said her company she works for, Wawa, is having all stores set up hand sanitizers at every isle and at the door . and if anyone has a sniffle or anything indicating a problem, they better not report for work.

I haven't tried to buy either--though when I went to the Health Center the time before last, they insisted I wear a mask (which they provided) because I was getting over a cough.

I do not use hand sanitizer any more then I usually do.
There is a pump bottle in the console of my car, I use it if I've pulled open a door without wearing gloves. I keep a pair of gloves under my seat that I use for pumping gas and when I push the grocery cart. That allows me to not use the hand sanitizer any more then I really have to.
I was washing my hands yesterday at the sink in the washroom at work and there was a lady a couple of sinks down from me who was wearing a mask. Naturally that was much more noticeable now then at any other time. I asked her if she was wearing it because she was ill or because she was trying not to get ill. She is recovering from cancer treatments and has a compromised immune system, hence the mask.
If we keep our hand clean, wash them regularly, and not touch our faces then we stand a better chance of not getting ill.

I live less than 5 miles from the North Italian border, where they have more than 2,500 people contaminated.
I feel safe here, we have everything we need, at least for the moment, no shortage. Unfortunately the news coming from Italy of perfectly healthy people who are dying are not comforting. I think that by September the problem will be over, we will have a vaccine and a cure.

We have a supply of antibacterial soaps which we use as soon as we come home. The rest of the time we use our regular liquid soaps.
I have a supply of antibacterial products that I use all the time when shopping, flying, dining out, etc.
I keep them in all four cars and in my handbag.
I’ve been a hand washer since my teaching career.
So, I’m pretty well stocked.

We always keep hand sanitizer on hand. So I don't know if there is a shortage.
