Off to hang out with a friend in Berkeley

Had fun at work today with the littlies (1 /2 to 3-years) . Have much to say, including some thoughts about the thoughts of very young children, the role adults play in guiding young children's fantasy play and other behaviors, and Mexican culture in general. Since Donald Trump has sent me several personal letters, and is apparently my buddy now, I hope he reads my thoughts on Mexican culture. I'm done picking on Indians for now. But I have to head out, so I'll save the juicy (interesting) stuff for other posts. They will probably go largely unread, which means I'll have to do more food posts, so as not to go broke on MyLot. For the record, I picked up a yummy corned beef and Swiss cheese sandwich at the Indian Deli on the way home from work today. My friend? She and I taught together at a mutual friend's preschool, affiliated with a local synagogue. She is Israeli (but her English is great) and not afraid to speak out. Both of her daughters were "students" on mine at the synagogue. We (we actually applies to my friend AND her daughters) have enjoyable conversations together. I will bring wine (not for the daughters; they are five and seven now). Anyway, how was your day? And of course, what are you having for dinner tonight?

My friend and I are actually being "future-oriented" right now. I am helping her write her VITA, and we're both discussing what we want to do next in life.

@yoalldudes Yep. I should do an on-line application to Guitar Center today. I'd like to teach kids piano and guitar there.

@TheHorse Going out in the grocery stores to buy essential food. You could feel how people are scared, you do not want to be approached by others, it is a bad situation.

@LadyDuck I try to act "normal" toward others, but not get "in their faces." I'm going to see if I can find some toilet paper out there somewhere today.

I had soup and some home made cutlets for the dinner yesterday. Is that a Red Indian Deli or Asian Indian one? It is always good to be in the company of friends with whom we can have a good conversation.

@TheHorse rough neighborhood? So do you keep in touch with cops if the hooligans cause any trouble?

Oh, Asian Indian. They are really nice people. It's a slightly rough neighborhood, so they are always glad to see me.

@RasmaSandra Inersting. Who are you doing this for? Does it pay well? I used to review products on Epinions, which paid quite well.

What is your writing project about? I have a few MyLot posts in mind. I will probably do one, and then try to work on my book a bit.

I'm chilling right now. I may go play music later, but I want to be free of obligations for awhile. What are you working on now?

Corned beef sandwiches are really nice. We cook it ourselves sometimes and it usually does at least one hot meal and several lunches of sandwiches . Pickled pork is an alternative and also really nice.

Pickled pork does not sound appetizing to me. But I sure do love corned beef and cabbage.

I'm so glad you have a new friend -- the Donald. I love corned beef! Our little housekeeper was here yesterday...She mostly tended to her baby that was crying. I had lentil soup.
