Generosity of an Acquaintance

I have an acquaintance (maybe turn friends in the long run) that has a stall at supermarket. Actually they are couple and I suppose they are good people. Their products are baked goodies and assortment of groceries and every time I got the chance to pass at their stall, a snack is always offered. Hmm. Maybe next time, I won’t do that anymore because I feel shame already. I also do not want to offend the giver so I end up accepting the offer all the time. This afternoon, I was offered with pineapple pie but I did not accept the coke.

How about making a deal with them. That you will pay for their offer with a discount.

I'll try that next time. Yes, really I'm ashamed.

@ZedSmart that vendor is very kind to you so I guess it is only right to make a deal with them otherwise you will not accept the offer of food next time.

I must say this is a very nice just gesture that they do for the customers. Nowadays we don't see such things from any business people but this great to see that someone is keeping this tradition of gifting alive.

Maybe, the offer could be a sign of trust?
